WHAT ARE BB CHALLENGES?

A challenge is a goal-oriented process in which personal growth is aimed at.

The Black&Blond platform features quick & efficient challenges supporting just that in the areas of FITNESS, NUTRITION & MINDSET.

The challenges integrate behavioural science. The platform’s aim is to incentivise you to take daily action, increase completion rate by 500% and built to create lasting habit changes.

In addition, at Black&Blond we value learning and capability building and integrate bite sized learnings throughout.  It’s fact that the more knowledge you have on any certain topic, the smarter choices you automatically make.

As people, goals, life situations and lifestyles vary, we aim to provide the flexibility for our users as well with an “access to all challenges” membership concept. Decide on your personal goals and then consciously decide and select challenges supporting your need.

Daily missions in each challenge are kept short (approx. 5-20min / day), as we focus on lifestyle change. These few minutes daily trump 1h workouts that seldom happen when getting started. It’s what you do on a daily basis that make up your lifestyle.

If you’re subscribed to our newsletter, you’ll be informed of upcoming new challenges or seasonal promotions. As a member, you have access to all challenges at all times.

Our challenges are for people who want to change something in the areas of fitness, nutrition and/or mindset. If you want to improve your lifestyle, feel better and become stronger in body,  mind and soul – you’ve come to the right place!

WHY CHALLENGES?

Challenges are an ideal tool to get you out of your comfort zone for a short period of time, with focused attention on acquiring a new habit, while working on your willpower and setting the base for long term change. Our Challenges are short enough for you to pull it through and long enough to make you feel the difference.

By taking small steps on a daily basis you will achieve more than overdoing your gym session once a week. Invest 15 minutes (or more) of your time every day and set the tracks for continuous improvement.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

After you register with your email and personal password (these will be your login data after) you’ll be requested to do the payment via Paypal or credit card. After payment, you have immediate access to all challenges – and this from any device (laptop, ipad, mobile phone).

The challenges consist of different levels, which again consist of various missions. Complete a mission to unlock the next, or to enter a new level.

Every challenge has a “warm up / intro phase” that proceeds the actual challenge. Schedule this accordingly.

For challenges that last a specified count of days , we recommend that you stick to it and complete the daily missions. For challenges without a time frame, decide yourself how fast you want / can move ahead. Psychological challenges for example need to be completed at every individual’s own pace and needs.

Our challenges range from 7-21 days. They can be completed at your own pace. We recommend to keep our timeline however.

We also have Challenges which should specifically be done at your own pace however  – for example our psychological challenges. Setting a specific timeframe on these does not make sense – here you should take the time you need.

The fitness challenges might require a chair or bench and a yoga matt for your back. Otherwise, no further equipment is needed.

It may be that our offer will be extended with a challenge in the gym.

The challenges are designed to be able to do at home, in the gym and even while traveling. Nutrition challenges are recommended to do at home as easier for your planing and implementation.

We focus on consistency, hence a daily mission is short, varying from 5-15min. Depending on your fitness level, the pace you train and the number of rounds you do, your workout length can varies respectively per day. If you combine multiple challenges, it adds up respectively.

OPTIMAL USE

Start with the challenge that excites you most. As beginner, we recommend to start one challenge at a time, and finish it before starting the next. If you’re up for it, combine challenges. However, don’t slack to your daily commitments. Consistency is key.

It makes sense to combine food and fitness challenges to increase the impact of your efforts.

Our Summer Body Challenges integrate missions to all 3 areas of fitness, nutrition & mind and is a good start for the holistic approach.​

Yes you can. In your membership area you see your progress on each challenge.

We recomment to finish a challenge when you start- out of habit. Finish what you start. So when doing multiple, make time for multiple daily missions.

First of all, be of yourself!  Are you tired, do you need to recuperate?  If not, choose the next topic that interests you. We focus on doing little things greatly, and this means consistently too.

Stay at it and challenge yourself continuously physically and mentally – that’s our sincerest tip for you. Change is gonna happen, no matter what. Decide in what direction that change should be.

If you would like to plan more in advance, select one of our 3 month challenge plans or create your own (Check out PLANS in the navigation). The plan has to fit your personality, lifestyle and your goal.

  1. Think about what you want, what is your goal?
  2. Where do you stand now in relation to your goal? Where do you stand in general regarding your physical fitness?
  3. How many weeks should your plan last, what is realistic and suitable for you?
  4. Choose your challenges accordingly and decide the order and possible combinations. Have fun! Look at it as a game, and know that: happiness happens with progress. So fall in love with the journey.

GROUP CHALLENGES

The only difference here is that we all participants who want to join start the challenge at a specific starting date. Group dynamic does wonders! Plus, share your experiences on the group community if wanted.

Group challenges are a great way to inspire you, get additional support with multiple accountability partners, and that extra subconscious push to pull through. Reach your goal with even more fun and team power!

We will announce upcoming group challenges in advance on our website and our newsletter.

MEMBERSHIPS & PRICING

Our monthly subscription is 17 Euro if paid monthly, and 14.50Euro if paid half annually.. It renews automatically on a monthly or annual basis respectively. You can cancel anytime with one click. Once cancelled, you have access for the remaining paid month. There are no refunds for any weeks of the previously paid month.

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time, with a simple click, and no additional fees.

Click on unsubscribe in your membership settings and your payments moving forward are cancelled. You’ll have full access for the remaining time. Your membership will only end after the end of your paid month. No further payments will be made.

You will be able to access the challenge platform right after your purchase. It is accessible 24/7.

You’ll have access to all challenges, all new challenges, as well as all group challenges and the internal community. The challenges include videos, instructions, information, recipes, shopping lists and much more.

To be able to provide good and continuous content we need the resources to do so. In comparison to many free fitness videos and challenges out there, we provide a holistic, profound, structured platform with thought through guidance, know how and learning opportunities.

In addition, by paying a subscription you subconsciously take it more serious and are more determined to pull it through,

You can continue the challenge where you stopped. Simply pick up where you left off when you are fit to continue.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT

Troubleshoot by clearing your browser cache and cookies.

Whether you’re having login trouble or any number of unusual errors, a quick emptying of the cookies and cache is the first solution to try.

In order to speed up your internet experience, browsers will “remember” old versions of websites so that they load more quickly. Usually, this is not a problem, but when websites update, remembering that old version can sometimes cause a problem.

Clearing cookies and cache tells the browser to start over fresh.

To access your member area, you first need to login. Use your username and set password to do so here.

Once logged in, you can access your member area by clicking onto “account” in the dropdown list under your username in the top right corner. Or simply select the challenge you want to start or continue.

If you have no rights for a certain challenge, it means you need to upgrade your free membership to an advanced membership (17$ / monthly or 14.50$ / monthly paid semi annually).

We don’t have an app (yet), but you can save our icon as a bookmark on your mobile screen. It will then look like an app, and you can access it easily. When you click on it it will open our platform.
